Bastard Font is a contemporary black letter typeface, notable for being one of the first to be created using a personal computer. In 1990, a British designer took the charge of designing it.
It is characterized by simple strokes with proper foundation applied most of the time. But in the corner of each letter, the designer adds extra creativity.
It has angular terminals that suggest a pen nib, which is electronically drawn and avoids curved strokes. Therefore, it is similar to Fletcher, a geometric font, released in 1865.
It offers three weights including Spindly Bastard, Fat Bastard, and Even Fatter Bastard. Each weight has more than 150 characters as well as up to 74 language support.
