Chunkfive Font is the perfect example of a bold slab serif font. It has a chunky letter design with ultra-thick serifs.

This display font was designed by The League of Moveable Type (Meredith Mandel). Tyler Finck created a new textured style in 2014.

Basically, it is reminiscent of old American Western woodcuts, broadsides, and newspaper headlines.
